Coach of Romania's team Maria Girba talked to Vestnik Kavkaza about her attitude to the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships held in Baku on June 13-15.
Girba believes the organizers of the event did a great job. "We like everything, everything is pretty great - the training conditions, the arena," she said.
According to the Romanian coach, the opening ceremony was better than at the 2009 European Championships, which were also held in Baku. "I was in Baku in 2009 and I thought the opening ceremony was very nice, but this one was better," she said.
Girba admitted that she loved Baku and Azerbaijan. "The city and the country are very beautiful. I like them. That was what I told my gymnasts - This is a very interesting city, people, traditions," she said.
