Young Azerbaijani judo fighters store 8 medals at European Championship

Young Azerbaijani judo fighters have claimed a clutch of 8 medals, including 4 golds at the European Championship held in Coimbra, Portugal.

The golds came from Keramet Huseynov weighing in at 50kg, Murad Heyderli at 60kg, Hidayet Heydarov at 66kg and Leyla Aliyeva at 48kg.

Natig Gurbanli weighing in at 55kg, Samir Aghayev at 73kg, and Musa Shakaraliyev at 90kg claimed silver medals, while Narmina Ahmadova at 55kg brought home bronze.

Azerbaijan ranked second in the overall medal table.
