Azerbaijani judokas win 7 European medals

Young Azerbaijani judo fighters have brought home a clutch of 7 medals, including 3 golds from the European Cup in Antalya, Turkey.

Gold medals came from Hidayat Heydarov weighing in at 66kg, Samir Aghayev at 73kg and Leyla Aliyeva at 44kg.

Other Azerbaijani judo fighters Murad Heydarli, Eldar Soltanov and Musa Shakaraliyev gained silver medals in the 60kg, 66kg and 90kg divisions respectively, while Rufat Tagizade won bronze in the 60kg class.

Azerbaijan ranked 2nd in the overall medal table.
