Barca enjoys Puyol-Pique duo again

More than a year had to pass to see them back together in the centre of Barça's defence, but on Saturday night it was Gerard Piqué and Carles Puyol back together as a centre-half partnership.

The last game in which they played together was on 10th February last year in the 6-1 thrashing of Getafe, when the club captain was a substitute and came on in the 75th minute.

On Saturday Puyol equalled the record of Migueli who played 391 league games for the club. The captain has now got over the lower back problems that stopped him from travelling to Seville last weekend.
