Bale outclasses Neymar

The difference between Gareth Bale and Neymar Jr. is that the Welshman can win a game in the blink of an eye when Cristiano Ronaldo isn't playing. The same cannot be said for Neymar. The Brazilian superstar is not putting the ball in the back of the net either with Messi or without him.

When the Brazilian was signed, many comparisons were made between him and Gareth Bale, after Real had forked out €91 million to Tottenham for him.

In the end, the numbers speak for themselves. Gareth Bale has scored seven times in La Liga and given several assists, while Neymar has scored four - half of what Villa has achieved at Atlético. It is early to compare just yet, but it is clear that for now the scales tip decidedly in favour of the Welshman.
