Barca wants 'fresh' Messi for La Liga

Barcelona will be keeping a close eye on Argentina's game tomorrow in Paraguay as Leo Messi's national side is in with a chance of mathematically qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil with two matches of this stage still to go.

The 'Azulgrana' club would then try to get Alejandro Sabella to release Leo Messi from playing those last two ties in October: 11th against Peru and Uruguay four days later.

It is extremely important to Barcelona and Tata Martino that 'La Pulga' should be spared such long, exhausting journeys at an important time in the season.

Argentina could mathematically qualify tomorrow even if it loses, in the event that the results of other matches go in their favour. Talks with the AFA will start after that.
