According to Turkish newspaper, 'Hürriyet', Galatasaray, Turkey's most successful football club, is giving Real Madrid player Angel di Maria the eye. The club already has Real´s go-ahead, although it must now sit down to talk with the player himself.
According to the newspaper, the president of Galatasaray, Ünal Aysal has discussed the possibility of the transfer with his Madrilenian counterpart, Florentino Pérez, and the result has been very positive.
Galatasaray has already got into contact with Di María in order to "break down the barriers", after the Argentine rejected a €3 million offer, the Turkish daily assures. At the Turkish club, the Uruguayan keeper Fernando Muslera plays (of great fame in Turkey), together with Spaniard Albert Riera and Brazilian Felipe Melo.
