Isco jokes about his Messi

Isco showed that he has a great sense of humour. During his first public appearance as a Real Madrid player he was asked about his dog's name. Its name is Messi and as such, it has been implied that he is a fan of the Argentine forward and is therefore not a Real Madrid fan.

Isco denied this and jokingly said: "I also had another dog called Figo. It's just an anecdote. I'm not going to change my dog's name from Messi now because if I did, he would ignore me".

Isco has never hidden his admiration for great players and he has previously said that he called his dog Messi because he is the best player in the world, just as his dog is the best in the world. It is exactly what he did when he had Figo.

Speaking of great players, he made it very clear that there are many of them in the Real Madrid squad and that he has come to learn.
