I would leave if they force me out - Fabregas

12 June 2013 [16:20] - TODAY.AZ
CESC FABREGAS insists he will only quit Barcelona if they force him out of the Nou Camp.

Fabregas, who joined the Catalans from Arsenal in 2011, has been linked with a move back to the Premier League.

The Gunners have first refusal on the £40million star and SunSport last week revealed Manchester United are also keen.

But Fabregas said: “It has taken a lot for me to get where I am, and I am not thinking about throwing it all away for nothing.

“If Barcelona said that they didn’t want me, that would be another thing — but what I really want is to triumph at Barca.

"That has been dream since I was small. Barcelona is my home and I have always dreamed of winning there."

Fabregas has been criticised by some fans in his first season back at Barca.

He added: “Some people might not like my play but that makes me stronger to improve.

“If the fans boo me, I need to accept it. I am the first one who knew this would be the most important challenge of my life. I just want to play.”
