Mou bids farewell only to his lovers at Bernabeu

Mourinho took up his seat in the Bernabéu home dugout for the last time. The stadium was at odds - some jeered whilst others chanted his name, mainly the Ultras from the south end.

At the end of the game, Mourinho only thanked the south end for its support and headed down the tunnel. The Ultras displayed a placard in the second half which read: "Thank you Mourinho for fighting for this club come hell or high water." Another said: "Mou, we love you."

After the Portuguese manager made his exit, the Ultras remained in the stands for a quarter of an hour. They asked Mourinho to come back and he obliged. Mou received a plaque from the Ultras, exchanged hugs and had his picture taken with them. This was how Mourinho bid farewell to the Bernabéu.
