Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is to join Turkish side Galatasaray after just six months playing in China for Shanghai Shenhua, dpa quoted a Turkish media report as saying last week.
Drogba, currently with the Ivory Coast national team at the Africa Cup of Nations, is to receive an 18-month contract, LigTV reported.
According to the report, the 34-year-old striker will receive 6 million euros (8 million dollars) over the length of the contract plus a one-off payment of 4 million euros and a bonus fee per match.
Eurosport Turkey said the contract was expected to be signed in the coming week. There was no immediate confirmation from the club.
