Azerbaijani wrestler wins silver at European Championship

Azerbaijani wrestler Patimat Bagomedova weighing in at 55 kg had satisfied with the silver medal of the European Junior Wrestling Championship in Zagreb, Croatia, after beating Hungarian Dorina Tornyush, Bulgarian Pepa Dmitrova, Simon Prikob from Romania by turns, but loss to German Nina Hemmer in the final.

Today, two more Azerbaijani wrestlers will test their strength at the competition. Thus, Kamala Aliyeva in at 48 kg will face Denes Mercedes (Hungary) and Yarina Dubovska in at 55 kg will fight vs Saga Anderson (Switzerland) respectively. As a whole, Azerbaijan secured 4 medals of the championship.
