Azeri taekwondo fighters win three medals

The European Youth taekwondo championship ended in Greece. Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters won two bronze medals on the final day of the contest. Khayala Guliyeva (46 kg) beat Maria Lupaska of Moldova, Cypriot Kiriaki Kuttiki and lost to Ukraine’s Irina Romoldanova in the semifinal thus coming third.

Turkana Tahirli (49 kg) beat Denmark’s Catherine Lonbek, Ariana Avramida of Greece and lost in the semifinal to Germany’s Sabrina Noelp and finished third.

Imran Zalov (54 kg) and Parvin Aliyev (58 kg) lost in the first fights and fell off the distance.
On the first day of the championship of Europe Aydin Bakhmalov (87 kg) also won bronze. Azerbaijani team has gained three bronze in Greece.
