Azerbaijani boxers win 5 medals in Russia

The 4th International boxing tournament in memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union Konstantin Korotkov has wrapped in Khabarovsk, Russia. The Azerbaijan national boxing team joined the tournament which was attended by representatives of 15 countries.

Azerbaijani sportsmen have scooped 1 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals in the tournament.
Member of the National Team Farid Shabanov in the super heavyweight division has beaten Chinese rival Jibao Vang in the final and scooped the gold medal of the tournament.
Other boxer Parviz Bagirov (64 kg) and Tural Ahmadov (52 kg) have lost only in the finals and won the silver medal.

Ahmadov has lost to the Russian boxer while Bagirov did not appear in the decisive fight.
The bronze medals came from Kamran Mehdiyev (91kg) and Rauf Rahimov (81kg).
