
New secondary schools were constructed and started functioning on September 15 in Hasankhojaly and Jafarli villages of Bolnisi region, Georgia, where ethnic Azerbaijanis live. The schools were built on the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Both schools were equipped with computers and modern furniture.
This year the Heydar Aliyev Foundation supported the construction of schools also in Marneuli and Gardabani regions of Georgia. The participants of the opening ceremony expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the care and concern for Azerbaijanis living in Georgia.
