ANAS to address Tariff Council to determine doctorate tuition fees

"Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) will address the Tariff Council to determine tuition fees at the fee-paying doctorate, said ANAS president Mahmoud Karimov.

He said fee-paying doctorate education is considered basically for the foreigners. "ANAS proposed $ 2000 for fee-paying doctorate education. It is very low price in comparison with other countries".

Karimov said Azerbaijani citizens get free doctorate education. "I can not say whether there will be fee-paying doctorate education in the future or not. I am against such education, because it is impossible to be a scholar paying money".
