Frosty weather to continue in Azerbaijan

Feb.19 will be cloudy in Baku and Absheron Peninsula, precipitation is possible sometimes in the evening, east and south-east wind will blow, Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry’s National Hydrometeorology Department told Trend.

Air temperature will be 1 degree below zero and 2 degrees Celsius at night, in daytime - 3-6 degrees Celsius.

Precipitation is expected on the night from Feb.18 to19 in some eastern regions of Azerbaijan, and by evening in most regions. Sleet is expected on the mountains. Sometimes stronger eastern wind will blow.

Air temperature at night will be 1-4 degrees below zero and 4-8 degrees Celsius during the day, as well as 10-15 below zero - in the mountains at night, in some areas about 20 degrees below zero and 2-3 degrees Celsius during the daytime.
