Chain reaction: 6 cars smash into each other in Baku

Six cars have reportedly smashed into each other this morning in the Nizami district of Baku. No one got injured as a result of the crashes.  According to the Nizami district police department investigator, M. Hamidov, the accident took place at around 8 o'clock in the morning, on the Babek prospect.

Hamidov pointed out: "Mercedes 220 was going with normal speed, and slowed down to skip the road obstacle, and just as he did that, Nissan Murano which was going after the car, just bumped into it. And it all created a chain reaction, Mercedes 220 got bumbed by Murano, Murano got bumped by Kia, then it got smashed by Nissan Maxima, and after it Mercedes 320 and Mercedes 240".

The investigator also noted that the driver of the first Mercedes car has no fault on him, as he was going with normal speed, and all those who were going behind him will be fined. All of the drivers admitted that they were not going fast, but did not consider bad weather conditions.
