Three illegally functioning universities revealed in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani Ministry of Education has revealed 3 universities functioning illegally in Baku, Senior Counsellor of the Ministry Ilyar Vahabov said.

He said that those higher educational institutions are functioning under the names of Baku branches of Ukrainian Academy of Personnel Management, Interregional University of Ukraine and Georgia’s International Interregional University named after Heydar Aliyev.

At present, the Ministry gathers the list of students studying in those universities which continue functioning. All 3 universities functioning in the 9th microdistrict of Baku are located by the same address. After the appropriate investigation, the Ministry will take necessary measures for termination the activities of these universities.
