Quake hits Azerbaijani sector of Caspian Sea

An earthquake hit the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. The earthquake occurred at 01:41 in the Caspian Sea, 120 km east of Baku, the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences' Republican Seismological Service told Trend.

The earthquake, measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale, was recorded in 65 km depth. The tremors were not felt in Baku and Absheron peninsula.
