Per-minute charge tariffs to be applied in fixed phones in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies intends to submit new offers to Tariff Council on switching to per-minute charge of fixed phones.

Note that, according to this system, each citizen will pay a fee for per-minute charge.

Minister Ali Abbasov says that, the Ministry has made changes in its position on this issue. According to new offer, this new system can be applied without changing the current system. The population will be offered to choose the subscriber fee or per-minute charge.

Minister says the population will be offered some tariff packet about this. Presently, the Ministry works with Tariff Council actively, related to this issue: “We discuss the proposals packet with them. We’ll give to Tariff Council some suggestions, because of the approach to increase of prices strictly”.
