Creating new exchanges and full electronization of old communication system in Ganja have had an impact on increasing number of Internet users, said chief engineer of Ganja Telecommunications Department Israil Mammadov.
According to him, another factor contributing to the increase in the number of Internet users is a multiple price reductions for Internet services.
Electronization of telephone network has increased the interest of private providers to render services in the region. Thus, the number of companies providing ADSL services in the communications network of Ganja has increased. However, most of common users still use dial up connection.
Today Ganja residents can be provided with ADSL services within a day after appealing.
