Azerbaijan to implement Euro-3 standard next year

Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers has determined years for implementation of Euro-3 standard in the country, chairman of the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patent Ramiz Hasanov told journalists.

He said the government decided to implement Euro-3 in 2012 and Euro-4 in 2015. Hasanov said they expected to build new laboratory this year for implementation of Euro-2 standard.

The State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patent will implement Euro-2 standard during car import from July, 2011.
