Japanese embassy sponsors construction of new school building in Azerbaijan

A new school building was built and commissioned in Azerbaijan's Shaki region with the support of the Japanese Embassy in Baku. According to an agreement signed between the Women's World NGO and the embassy, an $87,958 grant was allocated for the project.

The project aims to construct new schools and to improve the educational environment for schoolchildren in the Darajannat village, Women's World told Trend. This is the sixty-second project implemented with the embassy's assistance in Azerbaijan since 2000. So far, over $4.885 million have been allocated for various projects.
