Baku hosts international conference on problems of cybernetics and informatics

The third international conference under the theme “Problems of Cybernetics and Informatics” has today kicked off in Baku.
The three day conference's organizers are Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, Ministry of Education, The Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics, National Academy of Aviation, Institute of Cybernetics of NASA, Baku State University, Institute of Information Technologies of NASA, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and Azerbaijan Technical University.

The conference covers various topics, including tendency and prospects of cybernetics in the modern world, information and communication technologies, intellectual systems, modeling and identification, applied stochastic analysis, numerical methods and computational technology.

More than 40 scientists and experts from different countries, including Turkey, USA, Russia, Germany, Italy, Korea, Poland, New Zealand, Singapore and Ukraine are attending the event.

Speaker in the conference were ANAS President Mahmud Karimov, Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov, academician Akif Hajiyev, professor of National University of Singapore Louis Chen, Professor of the George Washington University Nozer Singpurwalla and academician Ismayil Ibrahimov.
