Large-scale ecological campaign conducted in Sumgait

Representative of several NGOs collected household waste scattered on the coastal area of the city from the city park till the Jorat settlement, “Civil Initiative for the benefit of public interest” NGO said. The collected waste was loaded into trucks provided by the city administration.

Educative work was also conducted as part of the campaign. The people resting on the beach were reminded through loudspeakers that they should not pollute the environment. The campaign was a follow up to the year of ecology in the country.
