Azerbaijani minister: Salyan Olympic Complex faces threat of flooding

Torrential rains and landslides in several regions of Azerbaijan caused a serious threat of flooding not only to houses, but some public buildings, including the regional Olympic complexes, Rahimov said.

The Salyan Olympic Complex came under a real threat of flooding, he said. Yet the waters of the Kur River have not reached the Olympic complex's building, but if the water level will continue to rise, there is a real threat of flooding the basement of the complex, Rahimov said.
