A trial over former Azerbaijani citizen who took part in the military trainings of illegal armed groups outside of Azerbaijan has begun.

Vugar Isayev didn't plead guilty at the hearing held at the Serious Crimes Court Apr.8.
According to the charges, Isayev participated in trainings held in military camps, fought against the forces of the military coalition in 2007-2008, which includes the Azerbaijani troops also.
Isayev was arrested in connection with illegally crossing of Iranian-Azerbaijani border July 29, 2009.
In January, Isayev was charged under 279.1 (establishment of armed units or groups unspecified by the Azerbaijani legislation, as well as participation in their establishment and activity, provision with arms, ammunition, explosives, military equipment or military equipment) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic by the Investigation Department of the Ministry of National Security.
