Famous Azerbaijani pianist celebrates his 80th birthday in U.S.

Organized by the Azeri Consulate General in Los Angeles, the concert involved lots of American music lovers, as well as the representatives of Azeri, Turkish and Jewish communities of California, members of foreign diplomatic representations in San-Francisco, Monterey’s Vice-Mayor and city’s media reporters.

Prior to the concert Azeri Consul General Elin Suleymanov made a speech featuring Chingiz Sadikhov`s great contributions to the Azerbaijani music.

Suleymanov also stressed that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has awarded Chingiz Sadikhov with honorable “Shokhret” Order.

Also the United States Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi sent a letter of congratulations to renowned Azeri musician.
