More than 1,600 witnesses interrogated on mass killing at Azerbaijan Oil Academy

More than 1,600 witnesses have been interrogated on mass killing at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy that took place on April 30, 2009, Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov said.
He said investigation continues into the crime.

“The public community is informed regularly about that. Four persons – Nadir Aliyev, Ariz Gabulov, Najaf Suleymanov and Javidan Amirov, who helped the killer Farda Gadirov to bring illegal arms to Azerbaijan without notifying law-enforcement bodies about it have been arrested."

Garalov said investigation is going on in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia.

“We believe the investigators will be able to solve the criminal case completely until the end of the year and all responsible persons will be held accountable," he said.
