Azerbaijani ombudsman applies to court on case of arrested bloggers

In her appeal, she calls for consideration of an alternative punishment towards young people but not imprisonment, Ombudsman's Office said.   

Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade are charged with hooliganism and intentional infliction of minor bodily harm.

Under the charges, on July 9, Adnan Hajizadeh, his friend Emin Abdullayev and five more people, being in a drunk state, clashed with Vusal Mammadov and Babak Huseynov, who rebuked them for non-ethic words.

Ombudsman calls for taking into account numerous appeals on the case of young people, as well as the fact that they have not been convicted before.

The international organizations call for their release without any conditions.
