Azerbaijani 'Baki' loses to Switzerland's Basel

Azerbaijani FC Baku have been handed a 3-1 defeat by Swiss Basel in the first match of the two-legged play-off round of the UEFA Europe League.
Baku`s squad included, Sissokho, Boret, Batez, Skulic, Mujiri, Perez, Soltanov, Savinov, Yunisoglu, Sojic, De Carvalho.

Basel`s squad included, Costanzo, Çağdaş, Huggel, Streller, Chipperfield, Frei, Safari, Inkoom, Cabral, Antonio, Sahin.

The return match will be held on August 27 in Switzerland.
