Azerbaijan, Germany discuss cooperation

They discussed the cooperation in health and medicine between the two countries. Shiraliyev said Azerbaijan has model relations in health and medicine with Germany.

The cooperation in pharmaceutics, medical technologies and medical education is improving. The Minister said tens of Azerbaijani students will be sent to Germany for training.

Relations with Germany’s university clinics and medical institutions are improving, he said.

Per Stankina spoke about the reforms carried out in health and social sphere in Azerbaijan and participation of German companies in the programs and projects in the country.

The ambassador said Minister President of Baden-Württemberg Günther Oettinger during a visit to Azerbaijan gave proposals on cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of health and medicine.
