Azerbaijani Embassy in Latvia marks Republic Day

Officials of the Latvian Presidential Administration, leaders and representatives of the parliament, governmental and public officials, parliamentarians of the Riga Duma, as well as heads of the diplomatic missions attended the official reception ceremony, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Latvia reported on May 29.

Azerbaijani Embassy to Latvia informed the guests about development dynamics of the Azerbaijan-Latvian relations and achievements, gained in the development direction of cooperation. The ambassador thanked Latvia for its position and support in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Classic works by composers Uzeyir Hajibayov, Gara Garayev and Fikrat Amirov were sounded and videos, as well as slide-shows on Azerbaijan were demonstrated in the official reception ceremony.
