Group of young people from England voices support to Eynulla Fatullayev

A group of young people from England has sent an appeal to the founder and editor-in-chief of Gundelik Azerbaijan and Realny Azerbaijan newspapers Eynulla Fatullayev, held in prison No 12, reports Day.Az with reference to the Institute for Reporters Freedom and Safety.
According to journalist's father Emin Fatullayev, the appeal says that the young people are informed about Eynulla Fatullayev's struggle for freedom of speech and voices support for him.

"During the telephone call, Eynulla Fatullayev said he feels well and has no problems with health. My son has recently received about 200 postcards and letters of support from the United States, England, Japan, Germany", noted Fatullayev.

It should be reminded that by the verdict of the Court of Grave Crimes, Fatullayev is sentenced to 8.5 years in prison. The editor-in-chief is charged under articles 214.1 (threat of terrorism), 283.2.2 (inciting national, racial or religios enmity by a person with abuse of powers) and 213.2.2 (tax evasion) of the Criminal Code. The Baku Appellate Court upheld the decision of the Court of Grave Crimes against journalist E.Fatullayev.
