Azerbaijani Ministry of National Security disarms the police-led criminal group

A drug trafficking group was led by officer of the Nizami District Police Department of Ganja City Elsever Nabiyev, law-enforcement officials told APA. Several members of the criminal group were arrested, but Nabiyev could escape. The security services are conducting operational searches for him.

Public Relations Center of the Ministry of National Security told APA materials related to the fact were sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ehsan Zahidov told APA they had no information about the fact.
