19 November 2008 [16:54] - TODAY.AZ
The Armenian side has returned to Azerbaijan the body of Azerbaijani army soldier Shamilov Orhan Farhad oghlu, who died during a fire exchange in the Fizuli direction, reports Day.Az with reference to sources from the state commission on issues of war prisoners, hostages and missing people.

The message states that the transfer process was held today at the contact line in the direction of Bash Gervend village of Aghdam. The relatives examined the soldier's body and confirmed that it belongs to Shamilov.

The transfer process involved representatives of the work group of the state commission on issues of war prisoners, hostages and missing people, Defense Ministry and International Committee of the Red Cross.

It should be reminded that on the night of November 16, serviceman Orkhan Shamilov, being on the military duty, tried to supress fire, held late at the night by the servicemen of one of the divisions of the armed forces of Armenia.

In several minutes following the exchange, Shamilov, continuing fire, raised for attack. In the result, he killed two Armenian soldiers and died.

The enemy managed to take the bodies of the killed soldiers from the fire exchange zone, while Shamilov's body was left near positions of the armed forces of Armenia. It should be noted that Shamilov was recruited by the Terter military enlistment office in April of this year.
