Conference on Azerbaijan's integration with Europe held in Riga

Reports say that the event, organized by the Cultural Center of Azerbaijanis of Latvia "Ojag", was held in the building of the Ministry on special instructions for the affairs of integration of the society of Latvia.

The conference was attended by minister of special instructions for affairs of integration of the society of Latvia Oskars Kastens, deputy of Seym of Latvia, chairman of the Parliamentary group of Seym on cooperation with Milli Medjlis of Azerbaijan Olegs Denisovs, deputy of Seym Nils Ushakovs, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Latvia Tofik Zulfugarov, chief of department of the state committee for work with Azerbaijanis, residing abroad Sureddin Humbetov, chairman of the consultative board of the Latvian Ministry of Science and Culture on the issues of education of national minorities Roman Aliyev, expert on inter-cultural policy Irina Vinnik, lecturer of the Baltic International Academy Aydin Askerov. representatives of public associations and organizations of national minorities, residing in Baltic states, as well as employees of the Azerbaijani embassy to Latvia.

An exhibition on the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijan People's Republic and present-day Azerbaijan was held in the framework of the event.
