Mass fight between Armenians and Azerbaijanis averted in Moscow

According to the state department of internal affairs of Moscow, the incident occurred late Saturday at Vinokurov's street.

Local residents told militiamen that a large group of Caucasians, looking aggressive, gathered at an area in front of the house no 19. There were about 50 people there, when militiamen arrived at the spot.

The fight had already started when militiamen arrived, but they managed to avert the further developments.

About 20 people were detained, while the rest managed to escape.
