Azerbaijani sportsman wins gold medal of world championship in powerlifting

Three-fold world champion and four-fold champion of Europe on powerlifting Rufat Aghayev took part in the world championship held in English Birmingham.
Day.Az reports that the Azerbaijani powerlifter(weight category of up to 125 kg), residing in Ganja,  won the gold medal.

By results of three lifts, which made 1,015 kg, Rufat Aghayev won the world championship on powerlifting for the fourth time.

It should be reminded that Azerbaijan is represented by 13 sportsmen in various weight categories in the world championship, held in English Birmingham.
