A group of religious figures made a statement on the explosion occurred in Abu Bekir mosque, APA reports.
They condemned the bloody event and regarded it as a crime contradicting the essence of Islam.
"No motive or emotion can justify attack on a temple. This is a serious threat to Azerbaijan’s national-moral security," the statement says.
41 religious figures undersigned the statement.
