Azerbaijani poachers detained in Kazakhstan

Azerbaijani sturgeon poachers were detained in the Caspian Kazakh sector.
The vessel was detained during raid arrangements in the north part of the Caspian Sea. Mobile group of inspectors of the Ural-Caspian interregional basin inspection of fishing under the Kazakh Fishing Department  took part in the detainment in the Jilaya Kosaya region of Atyrau, 25 kilometers away from the shore.

There were 14 Azerbaijani citizens on the vessel, equipped with two Progress type boars with Yamaha-55 outboard motors.

The revealed was sturgeon fish as well as banned finishing facilities, finishing nets, sturgeon caviar cans, objects and facilities for illegal sturgeon fishing.

50 nets set for sturgeon fishing were confiscated by way of etching in the region of the vessel detainment.

Materials on the said case were transferred to the law enforcement bodies, the mobile group carries additional raid actions to prevent other facts of poaching.
