Azerbaijani delegation discussing national satellite launching in Turkey

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the Ministry that in the sidelines of the visit the Azerbaijani delegates will discuss orbital position for the national satellite with Turkey and familiarize with Turkey's experience in this issue.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies presented to the government its proposals on the development of national space satellite. The proposals reflect technical data of the satellite and substantiate its importance for Azerbaijan.

The national satellite will help the country establish quality and reliable connection, TV broadcasting and raise the number of channels. If the national satellite covers the territory of Europe, Azerbaijan may become a transit country in broadcasting European and Asian channels.
