Head of the center Irada Yaqubova said the attitude of Baku residents to cleanliness is frustrating.

"I would list a simple example-even small garbage tanks are absent in the two recently opened pedestrian crossings at Nizami street. In their place, there are two rusty Turkish paint cans, which are always overfilled. And this occurs on the central street of the Azerbaijani capital, where numerous tourists walk!", noted she.

She said she has appealed to the Baku city administration on the issue, but failed to get a response.

"For combat with the Baku streets pollution we want to involve the citizens and for this purpose to hold actions and arrangements, as Baku's neatness depends on Baku residents", said Irada Yaqubova.
