Azerbaijani canoeist takes the World Cup

The first stage of the World Cup on rowing and canoing ended in the Hungarian Sedeg.
Azerbaijani canoeist Valentin Demyanenko took the first place in the final for 200 meters, which was the first victory for Azerbaijan, by showing a result of 40.901 seconds and followed by a canoeist from Hungary and a representative of Lithuania.

Valentin took the 9th place in the next final for 500 meters. Canoers Fikret Zeynalov and Elmar Mamedov also took the 9th place in the semifinal.
