Russian oligarch, co-owning two oil companies in Azerbaijan, wanted by International Police

Information about Mikhail Gutseriyev, ex-president of Russneft company, wanted by Russian law enforcement bodies for tax evasion, has been posted on the official website of international police.
The search system of Interpol's website gives out the photo of the entrepreneur and information about his age and nationality if "Gutseriyev" is requested.

The information does not contain special signs of the wanted persons and the reasons he is wanted for.

Oleg Logunov, deputy head of the investigation committee under the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, told a press conference in Moscow that the investigation on the case of Gutseriyev has completed and Russia tries to attain the extradition of the businessman, who is allegedly hiding in Great Britain.

As reported by the Russian law enforcement bodies, Gutseriyev is in Great Britain and periodically visits Azerbaijan. According to Logunov, the issue of Gutseriyev's extradition is being settled with Great Britain.

It should be noted that Gutseriyev is a co-owner of two oil companies -Karasu Operating Company and Kura Valley Operating Company which develop Padar and Harami fields in Azerbaijan.
