Flood hits in Agstafa

Azerbaijani western regions were overflowed with the heavy rain. The flood in the Agstafachay River damaged old railway bridge and automobile bridge.

Deputy chief of Agstafa executive power Ramiz Tatarov told.

The flood washed some areas used by residents. Fastening measures are being taken in the site and damages are being removed.

Tatarov said heavy rain caused rise in the level of the Kyur in Agstafa region, APA reports.

Approximately 400 hectares area was flooded as a result of the water rise.
