Slovenia to erect monument to Mehdi Huseynzade

The representatives from Azerbaijan's embassy in Austria have visited Slovenia's Nova Goritsa to discuss the issue to build a monument to Mehdi Huseynzade, Soviet Union's famous hero from Azerbaijan who fought against Nazis during the World War II.

The delegation visited Vitovlye village where the hero was killed and his grave in Chepovan village. The bust will be made by Azeri architect Akif Alasgarov. APA
