Azeri shooters leave for Sidney

World cup second stage starts tomorrow in Sidney, Australia.

Athens Olympiad bronze medalist Irade Ashumova, European junior second best Nigar Bagirova and Ruslan Lunyov will represent Azerbaijan in the competition.

The sportsmen prepared for the world cup in Thailand under the leadership of head coach Vladimir Lunyov. The second stage will be over on May 3, APA reports.

The winners will gain rating points for Beijing Olympic Games. Azeri shooters are to return Thailand as soon as the competition is finished. They will join world cup third stage to be held in May 4-11 here.
