Fire hits trade center in Sumgayit

The fire caught flammable constructions and goods in the second floor. 400 sq/m of the 2,000 sq/m area of storehouse burnt. Firefights managed to extinguish the fire. The incident was probably caused by short circuit or extreme loading in electricity conductors, the investigation is being carried out on the fact.

The other parts of the building and neighboring buildings were protected from the fire. Two injured firefighters received medical aid. The firemen returned to their work. The cost of the damage is being calculated.
